WisdomTree Europe is an exciting and growing leader in the European ETF industry. We are hiring a full-time intern position (6 months) within our European Research Team based in London. This candidate will support the research team in a variety of tasks and projects, from developing new investment strategies to supporting sales in explaining the value proposition of our existing strategies. The successful candidate will also help develop WisdomTree Quantitative Research capabilities and will be in charge of a specific quantitative project expected to be completed during the internship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as support for the Research desk in its day-to-day activities
  • Help develop data infrastructure and quantitative tools to support research effort across the company
  • Support in the analytical assessments of different portfolios and how those may translate to the realization of different types of investment goals
  • Collaborate on academic research to help build WisdomTree’s brand in this space for European clients
  • Support rigorous quantitative research to enhance or develop new investment strategies that have a compelling investment proposition for European clients across multiple regions

Skills and Qualifications

  • On track for a Master’s degree in Finance, Math, Computer Science or Machine Learning/AI‑orientated discipline
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial mathematics and derivatives
  • Excellent quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Familiarity with various industry tools (i.e. Bloomberg, Morningstar) is appreciated
