WisdomTree is seeking a proactive and results-driven Email Marketing & Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team in London. Reporting to the Head of Digital and Campaigns Marketing, you will own the strategy, execution, and optimisation of B2B and B2C email marketing initiatives across the European region. You will be responsible for delivering high-impact, data-driven email campaigns and automated customer journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This includes lifecycle communications, campaign execution, performance optimisation, and cross-functional campaign planning. This role will play a key part in scaling WisdomTree’s digital client engagement across Europe, driving measurable growth through best-in-class marketing automation.
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on SFMC expertise, a strong understanding of email performance and deliverability best practices, and a highly analytical, test-and-learn mindset. You will have the opportunity to shape and scale marketing automation capabilities across a growing European business.
Key Responsibilities- Own and execute email marketing strategy.
- Lead the planning and execution of email campaigns and lifecycle communications aligned to broader marketing and commercial objectives.
- Develop lifecycle and automation strategies.
- Design and implement scalable, multi-stage customer journeys, including automated workflows, nurture streams, and triggered communications.
- Leverage SFMC data extensions and Contact Builder to create targeted audience segments that improve relevance, engagement, and conversion performance.
- Develop, QA, schedule, and deploy email campaigns and automated journeys using Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
- Drive a structured test-and-learn approach through A/B testing across content, timing, segmentation, and journey logic to continuously improve performance.
- Analyse campaign performance (open rates, CTR, conversions, deliverability, engagement trends) and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Own and manage the email marketing calendar, working closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure aligned and effective campaign delivery.
- Own the end-to-end execution of all email campaigns and automated communications within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, from build through to deployment and optimisation.
- Build and maintain scalable automation workflows, nurture journeys, and triggered communications to support lifecycle marketing initiatives.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and hands-on owner of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder.
- Deliver against defined KPIs across email marketing performance, including engagement rates, conversion metrics, deliverability, and pipeline contribution.
- Use audience, behavioural, and campaign data to identify opportunities, test hypotheses, and drive continuous performance improvements.
- Identify and implement automation and workflow efficiencies to improve scalability and streamline campaign execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on campaign priorities, share insights, and promote best practices across SFMC usage.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on email marketing experience, ideally within financial services environment.
- Strong, practical experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
- Expertise in Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder and Contact Builder.
- Proven experience building and optimising automated email journeys and lifecycle campaigns.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, personalisation, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven optimisation methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of email deliverability best practices and performance metrics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into action.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
