WisdomTree is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial and commercially driven Senior Sales Specialist based in London to develop our sales and distribution efforts across Asia. Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Distribution in Europe, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and building relationships with institutional and intermediary clients, and driving net new assets across priority Asian markets, as well as servicing existing clients. This is an opportunity to establish and expand WisdomTree's presence in one of the fastest-growing ETF markets, leveraging our existing UCITS platform, differentiated investment capabilities and established infrastructure.

Key Accountabilities and Scope

  • Generate net new assets from institutional and intermediary clients across Asia.
  • Build WisdomTree's brand, client relationships and distribution footprint across priority Asian markets.
  • Provide high-quality coverage for existing clients while managing inbound enquiry opportunities across the region.
  • Develop and execute a focused distribution plan aligned with WisdomTree's growth ambitions.
  • Establish strong relationships with asset managers, private banks, wealth managers, family offices, distributors and institutional investors.
  • Deliver a consultative, client-centric sales approach by understanding investor needs and positioning WisdomTree's differentiated ETF and ETP capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop scalable distribution opportunities and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver annual sales, activity and asset growth targets.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Asia distribution plan across institutional and intermediary channels.
  • Cover priority markets including Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand, while identifying opportunities across broader Asia (ex-Korea).
  • Build long-term relationships with institutional investors, private banks, wealth managers, family offices, asset managers and distribution partners.
  • Develop opportunities through both direct distribution and strategic partnerships.
  • Leverage existing European client relationships with Asian operations to expand regional business opportunities.
  • Become the internal expert on Asian client needs, competitive dynamics and market developments.
  • Represent WisdomTree at conferences, client events and industry forums throughout Asia.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Research, Capital Markets, Compliance and PR to deliver coordinated sales initiatives.
  • Promote WisdomTree's investment ideas, market insights and research to clients.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, client plans and pipeline reporting.
  • Provide regular market intelligence to senior management regarding client trends, competitor activity and product opportunities.
  • Travel regularly throughout Asia to develop client relationships and support business growth.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years' experience in institutional or intermediary ETF/asset management sales.
  • Proven experience covering Asian institutional or wholesale markets.
  • Strong understanding of Asian distribution models and investor landscape.
  • Existing network across institutional investors, private banks, wealth managers, distributors and asset managers within Asia.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in one or more local Asian languages is a must.
  • Previous ETF/ETP experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of UCITS ETFs and cross-border distribution.
  • Demonstrated ability to build new markets and develop business from an entrepreneurial platform.
  • Excellent commercial judgement with strong relationship management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across global teams.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
