Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 qualified Early Years Educator to join our Caterpillar room team. This role is integral in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for babies from 6 months to 2 years, fostering their development and learning through play-based activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, alongside a genuine love for working with children.
Duties
- Plan and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Observe and assess children\’s progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
- Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the quality of care provided.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
- Nursery experience working with under 2\’s is essential.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification is essential.
- First Aid qualification required.
