Warehouse Assistant role at (WIS) Wellbore Integrity Solutions
The Warehouse Assistant is heavily involved in all workflow processes within the warehouse and workshops for fishing & remedial tools and related equipment. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, booking tools, cleaning tools with a pressure washer unit, pulling the correct tools to match operations shipping tickets, loading and unloading baskets of tools, and providing forklift support to workshops to ensure continuous tool flow. Service quality, job preparation, planning, and safety are key priorities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in tool‑box meetings with all members of the warehouse team.
- Always fully comply with the requirements of the QHSE policies, standards, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain all equipment in good, safe working order according to standards and report any problem or deviation to the warehouse supervisor.
- Perform daily maintenance checks on forklifts and OH cranes.
- Process incoming goods and mobilise equipment.
- Sourcing tools as per shipping tickets.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must have at least 3 years of experience working in a busy workshop environment.
- Must hold a valid forklift licence.
- Must hold a valid OH crane certificate.
- Must be able to work on their own initiative.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Is personally committed to continuous improvement.
- Listens and is able to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers.
