We are the only independent dedicated out-of-hours clinic based on the outskirts of Chester. A rare opportunity to work inside a multi-disciplinary referral RCVS-Accredited Hospital. Our evenings and weekends are made up of emergency treatment as well as ongoing care of hospitalised patients, with full referral clinician back up.

You will have access to a range of referral standard equipment including endoscopy, CT scanning and ultrasound, with a range of drip pumps, syringe drivers and extensive laboratory suite. We keep transfusion products on-site and are part of the Blood Sharing Scheme and pride ourselves on accommodating home-visits wherever possible.

Out-of-hours care for us is about offering access to the best level of local support for stressed clients in emergency situations, and ensuring the standard of care is high but also affordable for pets and their owners. This means no equipment is 'restricted access' to the referral clinicians only, and no off-site call centres handling calls! We have an on-site daytime administration team to support the clinic.

On the Wirral Peninsula, we are close by to major transport links and airports in the cities of Liverpool and Manchester.
