We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and dedicated team at Wirral Vets on a full time basis. This is a permanent role working across the two Wirral vets sites at Upton & Wallasey.

You’ll be working alongside a knowledgeable and approachable team of 4 RVNs, 1 Student Nurse, 5 Vets and support staff who all value teamwork and patient outcomes. Both Seaview and Upton are well-equipped with all the tools you’d expect, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, Imagist. Our location is another key benefit - based in the Wirral close to Liverpool and the beautiful coast just on our doorstep.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll enjoy a balance of surgical nursing, inpatient care, diagnostics and imaging, consultations and nurse clinics. We aim to rotate duties to keep your day diverse and fulfilling. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

Our standard full time shift pattern covers a 4 day a week rota 8am‑6.30pm and Saturdays on a rota which is usually one in four. However, we are open to discussions around flexibility and any specific requirements can be discussed at telephone interview stage.
