Brackenwood Junior School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our committed team from September 2026. This is a fixed-term position working 33.5 hours per week during term time.
About the Role
- Supports high-quality teaching and learning across the classroom
- Works effectively with individuals, small groups and whole-class activities under the direction of the class teacher
- Builds positive, nurturing relationships with pupils, including those with SEND
- Uses initiative to support and motivate pupils
- Has knowledge of SEND needs and adaptations
- Demonstrates good communication skills and a flexible, team-focused approach
- Shows enthusiasm, initiative and a commitment to inclusive practice

Essential Requirements
- Relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience supporting pupils in a KS2 setting
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
