We are looking to recruit an inspirational and motivated teacher of English and Personal Development (PSHE, Preparation for Adulthood, Citizenship) who wants to be part of a highly successful, collaborative and supportive team and wishes to provide stimulating lessons and outstanding learning experiences for students with SEN across KS3, KS4 and KS5. This is an exciting opportunity to join our excellent school. Clare Mount Specialist Sports College has a record of high standards and was again judged 'Outstanding' in its most recent inspection. The school is one of the largest special schools in the UK for students with Autism, moderate learning difficulties and speech and learning difficulties.

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who is passionate about the teaching of English and Personal Development, in addition to supporting the whole school across a range of extra-curricular and enrichment activities.
The successful candidate will have strong subject and curriculum knowledge, will be excited about teaching and is an excellent classroom practitioner. You must have a proven track record in raising achievement, be suitably qualified and passionate in these subject areas, be a highly motivated and outstanding classroom practitioner fully committed to working with children and recognising that members of our community are 'Role Models and Catalysts for Change.' You will embody our school values of Integrity, Resilience, Imagination, Self-Belief and Empathy.
Along with departmental colleagues you will plan, implement and monitor a range of strategies to promote a love of learning.
