As The Observatory School continues to grow, we are seeking to appoint a dedicated and reflective Classroom Teacher to join our team at the Leasowe Campus. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of School and wider Leasowe team to deliver high-quality teaching, contribute to a stable learning environment, and support pupils with complex social, emotional and mental health needs.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of a small cohort of pupils, adapting your approach to support regulation, re-engagement and progress. You will be expected to contribute positively to the wider life of Leasowe Campus, working collaboratively with teaching assistants and external professionals.
We are looking for a teacher who:

- Has strong classroom practice and can adapt teaching to meet a wide range of needs
- Understands the importance of consistency, boundaries and relationships in SEMH settings
