The predicted salary is between 12000 - 16000 £ per year.

23.75 hours per week Monday to Friday 11:45am - 4:30pm. West Kirby Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Sports Coach to inspire our pupils to develop a lifelong love of physical activity. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-quality sports sessions that promote teamwork, confidence, and healthy lifestyles. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on children's wellbeing and physical development within a supportive school community. The children at WKPS have a passion for PE and look forward to their PE sessions each week.

The Sports Coach will work with children from F1 through to Year 6. Duties will include:

  • Lunchtime sports provision
  • Curriculum PE
  • After school sports provision

The Sports Coach will liaise with the PE Subject Leader, as well as other staff across the school. The Sports Coach will be able to support children to take part in festivals and competitions with children from other schools. The successful Sports Coach will be fully involved in school life at our school.

Previous experience working within a school setting or coaching setting is desirable. Visits to our school are warmly welcome to gain more knowledge about the role. Please contact our School Office (0151 625 5561) and speak to our Business Manager (Paul Davis) to make arrangements.
