We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and teaching, who understands the importance of educating the whole child. At Brookhurst, we aim to achieve high standards in core subjects within a broad, balanced and enriched curriculum. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their capacity to deliver good and better outcomes for all the children in their care, demonstrating understanding of how adjustments will be needed for those pupils with additional barriers to their learning. They must have the skills to work as part of a team and be willing to make a contribution to the extended community of the school.

Brookhurst Primary School is in the process of converting to an academy as part of Cheshire Academies Trust. This is currently planned for 1st April 2026. On this date the employer of all staff at Brookhurst Primary School will change from Wirral Borough Council to Cheshire Academies Trust. This will apply to the successful candidate in this role. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding this process.
