The Governors and Headteacher of Bedford Drive Primary School are looking to recruit an exceptional Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant with a focus on SEND. The successful candidates will:

  • Have a level 2/3 qualification;
  • Have a passion for supporting the needs of all children, especially those with SEND/EHCP.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to deliver the curriculum;
  • Have an understanding of and a commitment to Inclusion;
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team, but also use own initiative when required;
  • Have an understanding of strategies for managing behaviour;
  • Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with pupils;
  • Adapt to changing circumstances in a positive manner;
  • Have a friendly, fair and caring nature, reliable and dependable;
  • Have a good sense of humour.
