Maternity Cover to 09/04/2027 1FTE MPS/UPS. The Headteacher and Governing Body of Prenton Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and effective teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the next generation of young people; fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth in a supportive environment. ECT teachers are welcome to apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring that all students receive an engaging and adaptive learning experience.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where children are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create a collaborative approach to student development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities, school trips, and special events.
  • Support the school’s ethos and values, promoting respect, kindness, and achievement.
  • A proven track record of planning and delivering engaging extracurricular clubs or projects.
  • A proactive willingness to support pupil development through enrichment activities, such as school residentials, competitive sports, or community initiatives.
