The Governors wish to appoint an excellent teacher to join our enthusiastic and hard working team of professionals. The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in our Catholic ethos and in the wider life of the school. They will be passionate about ensuring that each child achieves their full potential and will have high expectations of pupils' attainment, achievement and behaviour. The successful candidate must be an excellent practitioner and will need to provide our pupils with an outstanding education.

We are seeking a candidate who has an organised and methodical approach to work. They can demonstrate a passion for continual improvement and achievement, with an ability to inspire the confidence of pupils, parents and colleagues with their enthusiasm and commitment to the role.

In addition, you will:

  • Be an excellent team player, who is highly organised
  • Have good understanding of developing and delivering a quality primary curriculum and learning experience
  • Have a flexible, fair and empathetic approach and will be able to meet the changing needs of our children
  • Have high expectations of pupils and be committed to the school's aim of achieving excellent outcomes for all learners
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to build effective and positive relationships with both pupils, parents and staff
  • Have the ability to develop excellent working relationships across the school
  • Have a strong belief that every child is unique and can, and should, achieve their maximum potential.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed, by arrangement with the Headteacher.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check. The successful candidate will be required to sign the Catholic Education Service contract.
