Elleray Park School is a Primary SEN school delivering teaching and learning to children with severe/complex learning difficulties. We are seeking to recruit a class teacher/s to join our highly committed teaching team. The successful candidate/s will be based at either our Wallasey or Pensby sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of each child.
- Support students in achieving their educational, social, and emotional goals.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, teaching assistants, and parents to provide holistic support.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor progress and regularly review individual learning plans to ensure continuous development.
- Adopt an inclusive, positive, and respectful classroom environment.

- Has experience working with children with severe and complex needs.
- Is patient, empathetic, and committed to providing the best possible support for children with diverse needs.
- Has strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and outside agencies.
