Fixed Term to 31/08/2027 1 FTE M1-M6 Required from 01/09/2026. An exciting opportunity has arisen at Heygarth Primary School for an experienced, creative, effective and skilled teacher of EYFS. We are a two-form entry Primary School located on the Wirral/Cheshire border, with our current number on roll being 436. Our lovely school is both successful ('Good' Ofsted, February 2023) and popular. We expect to be at capacity in September 2026 in EYFS. We are inclusive in our approach and strive for excellence for all through the highest standards of teaching and learning. We are dedicated to preparing our pupils for lifelong learning by developing them to meet our Heygarth Values - Resilience, Honesty, Courage, Determination, Readiness, Respect and Thoughtfulness.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Has a real passion for helping children get the best start in life.
- Has a good working knowledge of Hygge & Curiosity approach to learning and the environment.
- Has the skills to meet the needs of individuals, raise standards, and facilitate effective transition from home to EYFS, and EYFS to Key Stage 1.
- Has an excellent working knowledge of the revised EYFS Framework, EYFS Profile and Development Matters.
- Has experience of planning in the moment and objective Led Planning.
- Has experience of working with and planning for children with complex additional needs.
- Has experience of Forest Schools and outdoor learning.
- Has experience of deploying staff effectively.
