Holy Family Catholic Multi Academy Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated IT Apprentice to join their ICT team at St Marys Catholic College Wallasey. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while contributing to the smooth operation of IT services across our schools.

Role Overview
As an IT Apprentice you will work closely with the ICT team to support teaching, learning and administration through effective IT services. This hands‑on role will provide you with training and experience in troubleshooting, network maintenance and supporting classroom technology.
Typical Day in the Job
- Technical Support: Provide first‑line support for equipment including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, printers and interactive whiteboards.
- Network and System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the school’s network including servers, switches and wireless systems.
- Classroom Technology: Maintain and support classroom technology such as projectors, smartboards and AV equipment.
- Administrative Support: Manage inventory of ICT equipment, logging and tracking hardware and software licences.
- Training and Development: Participate in structured training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Training & Development
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace Now Skills. You will be enrolled onto the Information Communication Technician with Azure / AWS Level 3 programme, providing you with formal qualifications and practical skills. You’ll also have access to one‑to‑one mentoring sessions with senior team members and on‑the‑job training that aligns with your career goals.
Salary, Hours & Benefits
Salary : ÂŁ14,133 per annum
Working Hours : 36 hours per week (Mon‑Fri 8am‑4pm)
Holiday Entitlement : 22 days plus bank holidays (holidays to be taken outside of term time)

- Required to have a Grade 5 / C in English and Grade 4 / C in Maths.
