We are looking for a Wirral Works Manager to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full‑time, permanent role offering a salary of £42,176 to £47,469 per annum.

Job Purpose / Key Responsibilities
- Line management responsibility for Wirral Works staff, including part‑time and Agency staff.
- Agreeing income and expenditure targets for Wirral Works on an annual basis in line with the college's planning process.
- Achievement of income targets, effective cost control and financial management, so that Wirral Works makes the planned financial contribution.
- Supporting the Head of Business Development and Sales in the effective management of the area, developing, coordinating and organising a designated Wirral Works portfolio, which will include SWAPs, Skills Bootcamps and their successors.
- Achievement of individual and team targets assigned to the area, including enrolment, progression, on‑programme support, pass rate and achievement rate, through the college's annual planning and staff appraisal schemes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Level 2 English/literacy qualification.
- Level 2 maths/numeracy qualification.
- HNC/D, Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area.
- Teaching or training qualification and successful teaching experience.
- Successful practical experience working within employability and with unemployed people.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the relevant standards pertaining to your teaching specialism(s).
- Experience of developing, delivering and coordinating customised training programmes.
