We are looking for a Lecturer in Education and Early Years to join our team. This is a 17.5 hours per week, fixed term role until July 2027 offering a salary of £15,705 to £21,720 per annum. - Carry out formal scheduled teaching on programmes ranging from level 1 to 3.
- Undertake a personal tutor and/or programme leader role to groups of students to maintain high achievement rates.
- Prepare schemes of work, session plans and learning materials.
- Carry out student assessments and mark students' work and examinations and provide feedback to students and set targets for improvement.
- Carry out internal quality assurance.
- Work as part of the team in the monitoring, reviewing and evaluation of all aspects of the programmes.
- Level 2 or above English/literacy qualifications
- Level 2 or above Maths/numeracy qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in early year, education or social sciences or a related area.
- Recognised full teaching qualification or be working towards.]
- Have experience of working with children.
- Able to evidence successful experience of teaching, training or assessing groups of students.
- Sound grasp of relevant teaching strategies and techniques.
