We are looking for a Lecturer in Business to join our team. This is a 17.5 hours per week, part-time, permanent role offering a salary of £15,705 to £21,720 per annum.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
- To carry out formal scheduled teaching, tutorials, apprenticeship delivery and assessments.
- To include the preparation of learning materials, students’ assignments and apprentices’ assignments and to support students and apprentices in their studies both during scheduled teaching sessions and during periods of self-directed study.
- To operate as part of a team in the monitoring, reviewing and evaluation of all aspects of the programme(s).
- To act as a personal tutor to groups of students.
- To prepare students for external awarding body examinations.
- Marking of students’ work and examinations, internal moderation and verification, as part of the team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Level 2 or above English/Maths or equivalent.
- Qualifications in Business or related area at level 4 or above.
- Recognised full teaching qualification or willing to successfully complete a level 5 teaching award or equivalent within 12 months of appointment.
- Able to evidence successful experience of teaching students and preparing them for exams at level 2 and above.
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge and practice of effective and inclusive group teaching and learning strategies.
