We are looking for a PEP (Personal Education Plan) Co-Ordinator to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £27,117 to £29,615 per annum.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on the development and implementation of each individual student's Personal Education Plan (PEP) as required.
- Arrange, attend and chair PEP meetings in conjunction with social workers, virtual schools and internal college teams.
- Ensure students' personal, emotional and academic needs are prioritised.
- Make sure the young person has a voice in setting learning targets.
- Develop and monitor systems for liaising with carers, social workers, health professionals and the Virtual School/s in relation to the education needs and progress of the student.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Hold a relevant level 3 qualification (Advice & Guidance, Youth Work, Teaching, Mentoring).
- GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Experience of working with a wide range of young people with different and sometimes challenging needs.
- Experience of chairing meetings.
- Knowledge and/or experience of identifying and supporting young people with a range of issues and barriers to learning.
- Experience of working with social care and other external agencies.
