We are looking for a Lecturer in Illustration and Animation FXT to join our team. This is 35 hours per week, fixed term until June 2026, offering a salary of £31,410 to £43,440 per annum.

Job Purpose / Key Responsibilities
- Carry out formal scheduled teaching, tutorials and assessments, including preparation of learning materials, students’ assignments and support in studies during scheduled sessions and self‑directed study.
- Mark students’ work and examinations, and undertake internal moderation and verification as part of the team.
- Work alongside colleagues in monitoring, reviewing and evaluating all aspects of the programme.
- Develop evening, community and adult provision.
- Manage and maintain appropriate College records and quality systems to ensure high performance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Level 2 English/Literacy
- Level 2 Maths/Numeracy
- Degree or equivalent qualification in subject discipline – Animation/Illustration
- Full recognised teaching qualification
- Successful teaching experience of post‑16 learners
- Experience of teaching illustration and animation
