We are looking for a Lecturer in Business to join our team. This is a 17.5 hours per week, part-time, permanent role offering a salary of £15,705 to £21,720 per annum.

Job Purpose / Key Responsibilities
- To carry out formal scheduled teaching, tutorials, apprenticeship delivery and assessments, including the preparation of learning materials, students’ assignments and apprentices’ assignments, and to support students and apprentices in their studies both during scheduled teaching sessions and during periods of self‑directed study.
- To operate as part of a team in the monitoring, reviewing and evaluation of all aspects of the programme(s).
- To act as a personal tutor to groups of students.
- To prepare students for external awarding body examinations.
- Marking of students’ work and examinations, internal moderation and verification, as part of the team.
Skills and Qualifications
- Level 2 or above English/Maths or equivalent.
- Qualifications in Business or related area at level 4 or above.
- Recognised full teaching qualification or willingness to successfully complete a level 5 teaching award or equivalent within 12 months of appointment.
- Able to evidence successful experience of teaching students and preparing them for exams at level 2 and above.
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge and practice of effective and inclusive group teaching and learning strategies.
