We are looking for a Lecturer - Employability and Progression (English Specialist) to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £31,410 to £43,440 per annum.

Job Purpose / Key Responsibilities
- To support College attendance, retention and achievement strategies by providing high quality, pro‑active teaching and support to learners on discrete NEET provision.
- To provide teaching and support that contributes to an outstanding student experience from the start of the college journey to progression into further study or employment.
- To work directly with all curriculum and support staff to ensure learners are fully engaged with all aspects of their study programme, college life and achieving to the best of their ability.
- To deliver to learners, where applicable, their English and/or maths curriculum including GCSE.
Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a teaching qualification (with English specialism)
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification
- Level 3 English and/or maths
- Have current teaching or training experience with NEET learners and ability to deliver English to GCSE level.
