We are looking for a Learning Support Technician to join our Computing team. This is a 17.5 hours per week, part-time, permanent role offering a salary of £12,577.50 per annum.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and joint supervision for the operation of relevant teaching and learning areas.
- Participate in the induction of students to the College and its facilities, as required.
- Assist lecturers in supervising the efficient and safe operation of teaching and learning areas; demonstrate and direct the safe/correct operation and procedures for the use of materials, equipment and processes to students.
- Support students in their studies both during scheduled teaching sessions and during periods of self-directed study and provide input into course planning where appropriate.
- Oversee regular maintenance and servicing of curriculum equipment to include ensuring that records are up to date and that any remedial action is taken promptly and with due care and attention to health and safety requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum level 2 literacy/English qualification
- Minimum level 2 numeracy/maths qualification
- Degree in discipline of study
- Knowledge of current health & safety regulations
- Experience of organising delivery of materials and preparing them for use.
