We are looking for an IT & Library Services Digital Support Apprentice to join our team.

This is a 35 hours per week, fixed term for 18 months offering a salary of £14,560 per annum.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities

To support the effective management of the College's student laptop loan scheme and digital learning resources while developing skills in business administration, customer service, IT support and asset management.

The postholder will work across both the ICT and Library teams, ensuring that college-owned laptops are maintained, accurately recorded, allocated to the correct users and supported throughout their lifecycle.

The role will involve working with students, staff and external stakeholders while maintaining high standards of record keeping and customer service.

Skills and Qualifications

  • GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or willingness to achieve as part of the apprenticeship).
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organise workload and manage multiple tasks.
