We are looking for a Health Care and Early Years Lecturer to join our team. This is a 21 hours per week role, fixed term until June 2027 offering a salary of £18,846 to £26,064 per annum.

Job Purpose / Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out formal scheduled teaching on programmes ranging from level 1 to 5.
  • Undertake a personal tutor and/or programme leader role to groups of students in order to maintain high achievement rates.
  • Prepare delivery plans, sequenced learning plans and learning materials.
  • Mark students’ work and carry out internal quality assurance.
  • Work as part of the team in the monitoring, reviewing and evaluation of all aspects of the programmes.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Level 2 or above English/literacy qualifications
  • Level 2 or above Maths/numeracy qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Health or a related area
  • Recognised full teaching qualification
  • Have experience of working within education, health or care.
  • Able to evidence successful FE teaching experience of teaching, training or assessing groups of students on Health, Care or Early Years courses.
