We are looking for experienced and motivated individuals to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £47,469 - £55,001 per annum.

Purpose of the role

To operationally manage the Personal Development Team and lead the tutorial curriculum, fostering personal growth, resilience and engagement across the student body. The Head of Personal Development will ensure a consistent, high-quality approach to personal development that caters to the unique needs of 16-18-year-olds, adult learners, apprentices and students with High Needs. This role involves both strategic planning and operational delivery of personal development programmes that support students' holistic well-being and career readiness.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Coaching/Mentoring Qualification
  • English and Maths qualifications at a minimum of level 2 / GCSE (9-4 or A* to C)
  • A willingness to undertake continuous professional learning.
  • Proven experience in curriculum leadership, ideally within a personal development or pastoral care context.
  • Experience of managing a team within an educational or pastoral setting, with a track record of driving high standards.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting diverse learner populations in a further education setting.
