Wirral Met College are currently looking for Lecturers in Computing to support our team on an ad hoc basis. We are looking for candidates with a programming and/or cyber security specialism. Bank staff are paid at an hourly rate.
Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
- To carry out formal scheduled teaching, tutorials and assessments.
- To include the preparation of learning materials, students’ assignments and to support students in their studies both during scheduled teaching sessions and during periods of self-directed study.
- Marking of students’ work and examinations, internal moderation and verification, as part of the team.
- To work alongside colleagues in the monitoring, reviewing and evaluation of all aspects of the programme.
- To manage and maintain appropriate College records and quality systems to ensure high performance.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in subject discipline.
- Full recognised teaching qualification.
- Level 2 or above literacy/English qualification.
- Level 2 or above mathematics/numeracy qualification.
- Successful teaching experience.
