About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Officer to support the delivery of key strategic programmes across the region. You will work closely with Programme Managers to support a range of projects and commissioning workstreams, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and progress tracking. As a Project Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Organising meetings and workshops
  • Maintaining project trackers
  • Preparing briefings
  • Carrying out research to support decision-making

You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of smaller projects, helping to drive delivery, manage risks, and ensure outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframes. This role is offered on a hybrid basis with an expectation of one day per week at the Wirral Development Office (Mallory) and occasional travel to other offices across the region in line with programme requirements.

About the Candidate: You will be organised, proactive, and a strong communicator, with the ability to manage competing priorities and support project delivery. You’ll have good analytical and problem-solving skills, be confident working with stakeholders, and bring a flexible, solutions-focused approach. The team works across both health and children’s services, so knowledge of either or both settings is essential, along with previous experience in project or programme support and coordination.
