About the Role: You will be responsible for delivering an ambitious Public Health funded project supporting vulnerable residents with their housing, health and wellbeing whilst contributing to key priorities in Wirral's Housing Strategy. Our approach prioritises prevention, early intervention and support to ensure residents receive the help they need to live healthier lives in safe housing.
About the candidate: We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to work as the leader of our dynamic Healthy Homes team ensuring the highest quality of service delivery to residents across the borough. You will be someone who brings strong leadership, has a proven background in supporting vulnerable residents, and confidence in decision making. Experience of working in housing-related services would be beneficial. Excellent communication skills will be required, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage complex and sensitive situations including supporting staff with demanding workloads and maintaining high-quality practice.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining the benefits of remote work with the collaboration and connection of in-office days, twice a week. Eligibility to work in the UK will be verified in the final stages of the selection process. All candidates must either already have a right to work in the UK before commencing employment or meet the Home Office criteria for Visa sponsorship. Candidates who require sponsorship should evaluate the Home Office eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa before applying.
