The Revenues and Benefits Service has an exciting opportunity to recruit two new Collection & Recovery Processing Specialists within the Debt and Income Maximisation Team. This is an exciting time to join us as we develop and strengthen our teams, supporting colleagues’ growth through flexible working in an inclusive and open environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work within the Debt and Recovery Teams, taking responsibility for managing complex cases and supporting colleagues to maximise revenue for the Council. You will respond to service queries and handle complaints and enquiries within agreed deadlines, ensuring a high standard of service delivery. You will join a dedicated team, working with skilled managers to deliver an ambitious programme of change focused on continuous improvement and high-quality services, while providing strong leadership and direction. This role offers hybrid working, with a mix of home and office-based work. You will have a contractual work base and attend as required, supported by technology that enables effective remote working and collaboration.

You will have experience managing complex workloads, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive enquiries effectively. You will be organised, able to meet deadlines, and confident supporting colleagues.
