About the Role:

As a Programme Manager, you will work closely with two peers and the Director to develop and deliver programme objectives through effective planning, coordination, progress monitoring, and support. We are seeking a talented individual with experience and knowledge of health services, particularly in commissioning and/or transformation to take a lead role in our health-led portfolio. This role will include supporting delivery across key priority areas, including Appropriate Places of Care (the specialist residential children’s homes programme), and collaboration with stakeholders to agree a regional approach to Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and joint packages. You will also contribute to the development of wider joint health and children’s initiatives. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider team, alongside the confidence to work independently when needed. This role is offered on a hybrid basis with an expectation of one day per week at the Wirral Development Office (Mallory) and occasional travel to other offices across the region in line with programme requirements. This post is offered as a 15-month fixed-term contract, and secondment opportunities will be considered.

About the Candidate:

We are looking for a motivated and organised individual with experience working in programmes or projects, ideally within health or public services. You will be a confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational and analytical skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and an interest in policy-driven change. You will be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
