Are you an organised and detail-focused administrator with excellent communication skills and a talent for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We're looking for a Parts and Administration Clerk to join our Parks and Countryside workshop team, playing a vital role in supporting the maintenance and operation of a diverse fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment.

About the role: This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are quite the same. You'll be at the heart of our workshop operation, helping to ensure the right parts, equipment and services are available when needed to keep essential services moving. From liaising with suppliers and managing stock levels to processing invoices and maintaining accurate records, you'll be a key link between workshop staff, suppliers and support teams. The role offers the opportunity to work within a small, busy and supportive team where your organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will make a real difference. You'll be trusted to help maintain efficient systems, support procurement processes and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop.

About the candidate: We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced administrative environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. You will be confident communicating with a range of people, whether over the phone, via email or face-to-face, and will be comfortable building positive working relationships with both colleagues and suppliers. You should have strong administrative experience, excellent IT skills and a good level of numeracy and literacy. You'll be someone who can work independently, stay organised under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy when managing records, orders and financial information. Experience within a parts department, workshop, transport or garage environment would be advantageous, but most importantly we're looking for a proactive team player who is reliable, adaptable and committed to delivering excellent service.
