We are looking to recruit a Financial Assessment and Direct Payments Manager to lead operational service delivery and development in respect of Adult Social Care Charges and to provide financial assistance to those who have elected to manage their own care and support needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the assessment and charging process in respect of Care Cost Personal Budgets (in accordance with the Care Act 2014) for adults who wish to manage their own care and support needs, together with those whose care is planned for and arranged by the local authority. You will demonstrate the ability and personal desire to drive the development of an effective, motivated team in delivering high-quality, compliant services and understand the crucial role financial assessment and support services provide in helping the authority determine the appropriate level of funding for care services.
