About the role: Be the voice of the council online. Digital channels are at the heart of how we communicate with our residents. In this role, you’ll help make sure our messages reach people clearly, quickly and creatively. As a Digital Communications & Engagement Officer, you’ll be one of the council’s key online voices. You’ll manage our social media channels day-to-day and play a part in everything from urgent public updates to celebrating major local events. No two days look the same. A big part of your work will involve taking complex information about services, projects and local issues and turning it into clear, simple and engaging content that everyone can understand.
About the candidate: We’re looking for someone who brings the right mix of creativity, curiosity and confidence. Here are the essential skills you’ll need:
