About the Role: Client Finance Support Team provide a Court of Protection and Appointee service to vulnerable adults who do not have capacity to manage their own financial affairs. In addition, the role will be responsible for the administration and delivery of Public Health Funerals where there is no-one able or willing to arrange the funeral of someone who has died on the Wirral. As CFST Administrator you will manage a caseload for appointee customers who reside in long term residential/nursing care homes. You will also need to apply for appointee for incoming cases, set up bank accounts and manage their income and expenditure. You will be required to undertake Protection of Property visits for both new referrals and to explore assets for funding a public health funeral. You will also support the team with daily banking to ensure all income and expenditure is recorded correctly.
About the Candidate: We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and customer focussed individual, able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The role is fast paced and varied requiring the officer to make decisions often in challenging circumstances.
