About the role: Active Wirral is looking for enthusiastic and qualified Group Exercise Instructors to join our pool of Casual Leisure Coach 5’s. If you’re passionate about fitness and love motivating others, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact in your community. These casual roles provide essential cover, helping us maintain a vibrant and varied group exercise programme across all Active Wirral indoor leisure centres and community venues. We are particularly keen to hear from instructors with experience in Strength and Conditioning, alongside other fitness disciplines.

About the candidate: Casual Leisure Coach 5’s (Group Fitness Instructors) will have the ability to deliver a wide range of exercise classes following exercise to music routines. You will be expected to implement your own teaching style and create a unique customer experience to Invigor8 members through group exercise. You will deliver a variety of activities to include aerobics, HIIT, Yoga, Pilates etc.

Qualifications: A minimum REPS 2 (Register of Exercise Professionals) or equivalent qualification. Exercise to Music, and individual qualifications in each discipline. The successful candidates will be required to work as and when required, at short notice, which may include evenings and weekends. They will also be required to work across all facilities within the leisure estate, having the ability to travel across the Borough to support the needs of the service as and when required.

This post requires a DBS check. Eligibility to work in the UK will be verified in the final stages of the selection process. All candidates must either already have a right to work in the UK before commencing employment or meet the Home Office criteria for Visa sponsorship. Candidates who require sponsorship should evaluate the Home Office eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa before applying.
