The service requires 3 Casual Golf Advisors who will work across two golf courses at Arrowe Park (Birkenhead) and Warren (Wallasey).
About the Role: Active Wirral is seeking professional candidates to support the Golf service in ensuring Active Wirral facilities and work is delivered in a safe and inclusive manner. Our facilities welcome thousands of visitors each week and we’re committed to ensuring every experience is not only enjoyable but also meets the highest standards of safety and quality. In this role, you’ll be expected to control admission to the municipal golf courses, advise and promote golf related activities, including the promotion of Invigor8 memberships and wider leisure offers to all visitors, users and members.
Some of the key tasks are highlighted below:
- Manage client enquiries and process any resulting transactions including taking bookings, on-line bookings and general sales, telephone, social media and email enquiries.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of key products and provide information and advice to promote sale of memberships, goods and golf products.
- Handle and process any cash or card sales in line with financial guidelines.
- Ensure the premises are open and closed and secured as determined by the operational procedures and act as a ‘point of contact’.
- Responsible for Health & Safety in the building to the extent laid down for posts of this level in the departmental safety policy.
About the Candidate: This is an exciting opportunity, and the successful candidates will be professional, ambitious, accountable and resident focused delivering a high standard of customer service to leisure centres and users along with all other stakeholders. There will be an expectation to be flexible and work weekends, early morning and evenings.
