About the Role: An experienced and self-motivated Team Leader is required to provide consistent supervision/management of a team of officers responsible for the assessment, prevention, resolution of homelessness to households who are threatened with homelessness or who are homeless.
About the candidate: The ideal candidate will have experience of team leadership in a Housing Options service (or similar) organisation and extensive knowledge of homeless legislation (Part VII of the Housing Act 1996/2002 and the Homeless Reduction Act 2018). You will have a track record of leading and supporting including coaching and training. You will also have experience of contributing to strategic outcomes, and liaison with external and internal partners including Elected Members and MPs. Preferably you will have experience of using the LOCATA HPA2 system.
We currently operate a hybrid working model with an expectation that the successful candidate will attend at the Council offices in Birkenhead 1-2 days per week.
