We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Officer to support the delivery of key strategic programmes across the Wirral. The role is conducted on a hybrid basis with an expectation of one day per week at the Wirral Development Office (Mallory) and occasional travel to other regional offices as required.

About the Role

The Project Officer will work closely with Programme Managers to support a range of projects and commissioning workstreams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, coordination and progress tracking for programmes.
  • Organising meetings and workshops.
  • Maintaining project trackers.
  • Preparing briefings and carrying out research to support decision‑making.
  • Taking ownership of smaller projects, driving delivery, managing risks and ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframes.
