Play a vital role in protecting Wirral’s communities, coastline, and future. We’re looking for an experienced and proactive professional to work alongside the Senior Manager for Climate Emergency and Flood Risk Management to effectively manage current and emerging flood and coastal erosion risks. This role is central to shaping a safer, more resilient borough.

In This Key Position, You Will:

  • Develop and implement strategies and studies that reduce flood and coastal erosion risk across Wirral.
  • Identify and drive investment opportunities, ensuring long‑term resilience and value for our communities.
  • Create and apply technical guidance and policy that informs planning decisions and ensures future development is protected from flood risk.
  • Support the delivery of innovative, evidence‑based solutions that help safeguard people, property, and our coastline.

Eligibility to work in the UK will be verified in the final stages of the selection process.
