We are looking for a dedicated individual to help maintain Wirral’s play areas, outdoor gym equipment, and multi‑use games areas, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and fully functional for the community.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and scheduled inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Accurately record and report all inspection findings, defects, and remedial actions in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
- Perform cleaning, maintenance, and repairs on play equipment, surfacing, and site furniture, including signage, seating, fencing, and gates.
- Replace damaged or worn components to maintain safe and accessible facilities.
- Follow risk assessment procedures and promptly report safety concerns.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to play areas.
- Experience in maintenance and repair of outdoor equipment (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate records.
- Commitment to providing safe, high‑quality facilities for public use.
