About the Role

  • Deliver accurate and timely payroll and pensions administration.
  • Calculate, record and process complex business transactions, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and Council policies.
  • Analyse and assess data, resolve queries and provide expert advice to colleagues and customers on payroll and pensions matters.

About the Candidate

  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Strong communicator with a customer‑focused approach.
  • Ability to analyse information, make decisions and resolve issues independently.
  • Strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and proficiency in data input and analysis on IT systems.
