Microsoft M365 Platform Lead
About the Role
Wirral Council is on an ambitious digital transformation journey. The role supports the M365 team in the Digital, Data and Technology department, leading a team of M365 and Power Platform engineers to design and implement enterprise collaboration tools, applications and services. The focus is on delivering a modern workplace to enable productivity, collaboration and flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead the M365 and Power Platform team.
- Design and deliver Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions.
- Manage and support M365 environments and the Power Platform Centre of Excellence.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand needs and provide simple solutions.
- Drive service transformation and improve user experience.
- Champion communities of practice and oversee automation, DevOps and application lifecycle management.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential skills and experience include:
- Experience with M365 products and Power Platform.
- Strong knowledge of M365 administration tools.
- Experience managing and supporting M365 environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functional teams and implement solutions.
- Knowledge of DevOps, application lifecycle management, automation and workflow design is desirable.
