We have an exciting opportunity to recruit 4 Child & Family Workers to join the family help department of children’s service.

As a Family Worker, you will be responsible for managing a case load of families. Some families may have a social worker as part of the support being offered, or you may be coordinating that support alongside other involved colleagues such as education or health.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of safeguarding practices and demonstrable experience of working with families with complex needs. You should be adept at quickly building rapport and gaining trust from those you are working with and have children and families at the heart of everything you do.

Requirements

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, including a check of the relevant Barred List(s). Eligibility to work in the UK will be verified in the final stages of the selection process. All candidates must either already have a right to work in the UK before commencing employment or meet the Home Office criteria for Visa sponsorship.
