Leisure Assistants 1 full-time role and 3 part-time roles across The Oval, Guinea Gap and Leasowe Leisure Centre.

Key Tasks Of The Role Include:

  • Providing lifeguard duties across designated swimming pools.
  • Regularly patrol the gym area on rota and ensure all areas of the leisure facility and machines are clean and in good working order.
  • Ensure all areas are fit for purpose and report all defects to Line Manager.
  • Undertake general cleaning and labouring duties as required.
  • Regularly patrol outside facilities, collect tickets and supervise outside changing facilities including issuing keys for changing areas.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Participate in ongoing training programmes.

Qualifications:

  • Current Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) Pool Lifeguarding qualification is essential.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and shift patterns across all leisure centres, including evenings and weekends.
  • DBS check required.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK; candidates must have the right to work or meet Visa sponsorship criteria.
