Leisure Assistants 1 full-time role and 3 part-time roles across The Oval, Guinea Gap and Leasowe Leisure Centre.
Key Tasks Of The Role Include:
- Providing lifeguard duties across designated swimming pools.
- Regularly patrol the gym area on rota and ensure all areas of the leisure facility and machines are clean and in good working order.
- Ensure all areas are fit for purpose and report all defects to Line Manager.
- Undertake general cleaning and labouring duties as required.
- Regularly patrol outside facilities, collect tickets and supervise outside changing facilities including issuing keys for changing areas.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Participate in ongoing training programmes.
Qualifications:
- Current Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) Pool Lifeguarding qualification is essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and shift patterns across all leisure centres, including evenings and weekends.
- DBS check required.
- Eligibility to work in the UK; candidates must have the right to work or meet Visa sponsorship criteria.
