About the Role

Wirral Leisure Services are recruiting Casual Leisure Coaches (Level 1 and Level 2) to deliver high‑quality, instructor‑led sessions across Wirral Leisure Centres and in community settings. Activities include Rugby, Active All Sports, Balanceability, Badminton and Pickleball, working with participants of varying ages and abilities. The position is casual with flexible hours that vary according to the activity programme and service needs. Pay rates are determined by qualifications, skills and experience.

Requirements

  • Level 1 or Level 2 coaching qualification (e.g., Balanceability Instructor, Pickleball Activator, Badminton Activator, Rugby Activator, Multisports, Sports Leaders Award or equivalent).
  • Valid First Aid qualification.
  • Valid DBS check.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable and motivated, with the ability to deliver safe, engaging and inclusive sessions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different age and ability groups.
