This role is hybrid, involving home work, community visits with service users, and office duties. The successful candidate must be a car driver to provide face-to-face support to families where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with social workers and other team members to support vulnerable families.
  • Deliver all aspects of parenting work designed to empower and assist parents.
  • Facilitate and supervise family contact sessions, ensuring safety and positive interaction.
  • Support and facilitate transport arrangements for children and families.
  • Monitor and report on family progress, maintaining detailed records.
  • Promote and uphold safeguarding standards at all times.
  • Assist in creating care plans tailored to family needs.
  • Offer emotional support and practical advice to families and children.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young people and their families.
  • Full UK driving licence and must be able to drive a car.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Can work independently and within a team.

Temporary, full-time position for an initial period of 3 months with a view to extension on a rolling basis. Pay rate £17.07 per hour.
